Local Lit Feature with Marie Kemplay - Clare Mulley

Harpenden born author, Clare Mulley, joined us for this months Local Literacy Feature to discuss about her two well known biographies, 'The Woman Who Saved the Children: A Biography of Eglantyne Jebb' and 'The Spy Who Loved: The Secrets and Lives of Christine Granville'. Clare also discussed the vast amount of research that goes into writing her books, such as visiting Warsaw to further her information on Christine.

You can listen to the interview with Clare Mulley here!

To finish this month's literacy feature, Marie Kemplay spoke of events taking place in this coming month, such as World Book Day on 3rd March and the Hertfordshire Lit Fest, which is an exciting programme of author talks and events throughout March and April in Hertfordshire Libraries
