In The Studio with @Ed2NorthPole

Today, St. Albans' answer to Ranulph Fiennes, Ed Suttie joined us to discuss his planned expedition to the North Pole next year. He's undertaking the 230km from the 4th of April next year challenge on behalf of four charities. Two are locally focused: Rennie Grove Hospice Care and Earthworks St. Albans. The other two charities his effort aims to help are Cancer Research UK and the UK Antarctic Heritage Trust.

In the run up to the challenge, on the 1st of January a 'Polar Bear Plunge' will be taking place at the St Albans Sub Aqua Club, with the mayor attending.
