Chris' Film Club: Snakes On A Plane

To end this weeks Film Club theme of film narratives involving planes, we take a look at the classic Snakes On A Plane.

The title sums up the storyline pretty well, as it focuses on thousands of snakes that are released onto a plane, in order to kill a witness to a crime. FBI agent Nelville Flynn, played by Samuel L Jackson, has to protect everyone by trying to survive the slithery threat.

It is seen as a bit of a cult film that built up massive buzz before it’s release, which is still spoken about through internet memes and references from its fanbase. This was based mostly on the concept of the film and it’s casting of highest all-time box office star, Samuel L. Jackson.
