Young Honor wasn't in the studio tonight, but that didn't seem to deter her new biggest fan, Mayor Matthew Broderick. He's been hanging around the studio a lot recently, even on days when Honor is not in. His behaviour is actually rather creepy, and is making Simon Carver's behaviour seem relatively sane in comparison. Simon, ever the fierce competitor, doesn't like his position as The Unstable One at the show threatened, so he decided to go all out this week.
When Chris and Danny arrived at the studio after a day of backbreaking work down the mine, they discovered that Simon had dressed as a Mexican wrestler and painted the entire studio in a colour he calls 'Flooded Basement'. He had also released a large amount canaries into the studio, which had proceeded to poop on everything and everyone, while whistling a merry tune.
Danny and Chris could only shake their heads in pity, as this all seemed a bit old hat, and so they both told Simon he needed to up his game. Simon balled his fists in gathering rage and cursed the day that Matthew Broderick had been born. He swore revenge on the once-teen heartthrob, fought back the tears and got on with the show, all the while imagining the horrible pains he could inflict on Broderick.
Ok, that was a lie, but Simon was in the studio (and Honor wasn't) to talk about the UK box office, new releases in the cinema, and his pick of films on TV for the coming week.
