A Fairtrade Christmas in St. Albans

Today; we were joined in the studio by Reverend Jos Perris, curate of St. Peter's church. She was here to discuss the pop-up Christmas shop appearing in St. Albans over the festive period, as a result of collaboration between the six Christian churches in the St Albans.

The shop will sell Fairtrade and Traidcraft gift items, decorations and Christmas cards. All of the profits generated by the shop will go to local charities including Centre 33, Open Door and Bereavement Matters - St. Albans. The shop will also act as a drop off point for the FEED food bank.

The shop will be open Monday - Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, from the December 1st to December 20th. You can find it in the Cross Street Cafe at the Dagnell Street Baptist Church, on the corner of Upper Dagnall Street and Cross Street
