An Interview with Becki Vukovich who is raising money for the Herts Air Ambulance Trust

Today we were fortunate to be joined again by Becki Vukovich who is raising money for the Herts Air Ambulance Trust. She also announced a cocktail evening at the Beachhouse St Albans this Saturday and come along to enjoy a 'Luca Cocktail' from 7:30pm.

We at Radio Verulam were surprised to learn that the air ambulance, that must raise £5.3 million a year just to fly, is not government funded although it provides vital care for those seriously injured. Becki told us the story of her son, Luca, who was in a serious accident involving a van and that the essential work carried out by the air ambulance saved her sons life, who is now recovering. Here at Radio Verulam we wish you all the best Luca!

On 10th October Becki will leave for a 10 day trek along the Great Wall of China and we hope that the community will support on this grueling task, all selflessly undertaken in the name of charity. To donate please visit and we can't wait to here about how the trek goes.
