The Radio Verulam Film Guide: 4th July 2014

Tonight we had Simon Carver in the studio to talk all about films, but we didn't actually get around to doing the Film Guide because of a small incident involving our work experience student, Stephen. Stephen has been around all week and seemingly doing everything very well but today things went a bit to pot. After a week of being around Danny he had decided that he could probably do better (and he probably wouldn't be wrong) so instead of training to be a presenter he held a small coup in the studio. Armed with a feather duster and backed up by the cleaning lady and a small homeless man, Stephen lead an assault on the studio in an effort to dislodge Danny from his position of power. Danny, using Simon as a human shield, fought Stephen off using a mic stand and a pair of glasses. The battle was long and fierce, with casualties on both sides, but eventually Danny reigned supreme, with Stephen slinking back off to his desk to edit the podcast.

Ok, that was a lie, but Simon was in the studio to talk about the UK box office, the new releases of the week and his pick of films on free-to-air TV for the coming week.
