The Radio Verulam Film Guide: 28th March 2014

Tonight Simon decided that he would stop swanning around Europe without telling anyone where he was and finally, you know, do his job. Come to think of it, I don't actually know what Simon does. He claims to work at a church but the amount of drug smuggling he does suggests that that is probably just a front (he is the inspiration for Tony Montana, played by Al Pacino in Scarface). Regular readers to the blog will know that following Brentford FC hilariously missing out on promotion last season Simon suffered somewhat of a breakdown and travelled to Las Vegas with a bevy of beautiful women for a weekend of debauchery. He seemed to know Las Vegas very well (especially where is best to find exotic dancers) so I've come to the conclusion that Simon is in fact a Las Vegas stripper. That would certainly explain a lot, although I imagine your average stripper knows a little bit more about movies than Simon does.

Ok, that was a lie (he's almost certainly a lounge singer), but Simon was in the studio to talk about the UK box office top 10 and his pick of films on free-to-air TV for the coming week.
