The Radio Verulam Film Guide: 21st March 2014

Tonight Simon decided that a trip to Germany would be better than presenting the film guide, which, to be perfectly honest, I can fully understand. I mean, Germany is a beautiful country with great culture, interesting history and tasty, tasty beer. So it makes sense that you'd take a little holiday and then make sure that you told the presenter of the radio show you help present a film program on that you won't be there that week. Of course you do, otherwise you'd be a total and utter goon.

Wait, what's that? Simon didn't warn anyone that he was going away and he left everyone in the lurch? Yep, that's right folks. Simon didn't tell anyone he was off so Danny and Chris had to improvise the Film Guide. Sadly, Danny and Chris aren't very good improvisers, so they played a 15 minute game of charades and then hummed the theme tunes of 80s TV shows for the final 15 minutes. It was really....... inspiring.

Ok, that was (only half) a lie, but Chris was sitting in for Simon this week and spoke with Danny about the UK box office top 10 and his pick of films on free-to-air TV for the coming week.
