This week's film club theme is 'Bond films' so we have gone right back to the beginning with Dr. No. Bond is sent to stop No from disrupting a manned space flight with a radio beam weapon and does so with the usual style and panache that we now associate strongly with the Bond series.
The film made Sean Connery a star and also starred Ursula Andress, Joseph Wiseman and Bernard Lee.
