Cuppa For Care with the Court Yard Cafe

On Friday the 13th, The Court Yard Cafe hosted an event "Care For A Cuppa". The cafe successfully raised money for local hospice Grove house by featuring a number of local arts and crafts including Funky Daisy Fashion and Jewellery, Pom Pom Emporium and many more stalls featuring various vintage items and hand made porcelain.

Later in the day there was an hour set from the fantastic ukelele group Ver Players who play a wide range of upbeat covers from Maggie May to Valery by The Zutons and Amy Winehouse.  This was the first event of it's kind to be out on by The Courtyard Cafe, however that have also help raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Care and Support Charity by hosting Coffee Mornings.
