Chris' Film Club: Frost/Nixon

Today, in 1994, the world said goodbye to the controversial and divisive Richard M. Nixon. He is one of the most famous (or infamous) people in the history of the USA and he is the only President to have ever resigned from office.

I've chosen Frost/Nixon as the film for today. Directed by Ron Howard it dramatically portrays the legendary interview between the dishonoured President and the British TV star David Frost. It stars Frank Langella as Nixon and Michael Sheen as David Frost and has a supporting cast that includes Kevin Bacon, Oliver Platt and Sam Rockwell.

It's a brilliantly acted and written piece of work and the trailer can be seen below.
