Chris' Film Club: Tombstone

Today would be the 165th birthday of legendary lawman Wyatt Earp he was born in 1848 and is well known for his involvement in the Gunfight at the OK Corral. He has been immortalised in films many times but I’ve picked his portrayal by Kurt Russell in Tombstone.
In the film the Earp brothers (Wyatt, Virgil and Morgan played by Russell, Sam Eliott and Bill Paxton) team up with Doc Holliday (Val Kilmer) to take down the Clanton gang.

It is an action packed film with great performances from Russell and Kilmer, who reminds us that once upon a time, he was a talented actor in good films. Those were the days.
