Today we had Tere and Daisy from Raindrops on Roses

A new shop opened on the 7th November in St Albans calling itself 'Raindrops on Roses'.  Best described as a 'gift shop with a difference', the shop is staffed entirely from volunteers, sources most of its products from local craftspeople and donates all of its profits to Herts Against Cancer.  Primely situated directly opposite the Clock Tower the shop sells everything from cufflinks and make-up cases to men's shaving balm and children's winter tops.

The shop's concept has been under construction for close to two years and was set up by a group with first-hand experiences of cancer, with an aim to raise funds to aid early detection in cancer patients.  Raindrops on Roses consider all their products unique to St Albans and Hertfordshire - but don't take their word for it, pop in yourself!

Raindrops and Roses is situated at 15 High Street and will be permanently based in St Albans.  For more information please visit
