Jess Distill on SWEENEY TODD auditions and 'Said the Maiden'

Jess Distill's show business interests range quite wide, taking in folk performance troupe 'Said the Maiden' and work for theatrical production companies.  One of these companies ACT (Arts Commissioned Theatre) is starting work on their follow-up show to Fame which is SWEENEY TODD.  They are now holding open auditions for all cast parts - the only prerequisite is auditionees must be over 12 and a little vocal ability would be useful.

Get involved with auditions at the Sandpit Theatre in Marshalswick on the 18th November from 11am-2pm or 3-6 or 20th November 6-9pm.

Jess' aforementioned artistic endeavour 'Said The Maiden' are a vocal trio singing traditional English folk songs.  The band originated as school friends and play fiddles and guitars with ukuleles and accordions soon to be added.  They are currently recording an EP, appearing on November 16th at the Watford Pumphouse theatre and their website can be viewed at: www.saidthemaiden.blogspot.com
