The crescent is a support group for people with HIV & AIDS and has been established in St.Albans for over 20 years. They provide help and education for HIV & AIDS and offer tests and counselling for victims and their family.
The charity has lost all it's financial backing from Hertfordshire County Council and the NHS as they have moved all funding to a different charity. There has been no reasoning or evidence as to why they no longer have the support of Hertfordshire County Council and as a result all employees were made redundant and have now come back as volentees to the organisation.
