Wednesday's Special Guest - Paul Freeman

On today's show we were priviliged to be joined by international singer/songwriter Paul Freeman.

Paul was born in Newport, South Wales, named after Paul McCartney and his songs are impeccable crafted, rich and well rounded.  He has written songs with Mark Owen, Take That and hatched ideas that would later come to fruition on Take That’s Circus album.

Paul re-located to Los Angeles where he played guitar with Shania Twain and later James Blunt who asked him to play on his hit single “You’re Beautiful”.  He has also headed out on a succession of US tours, opening for Los Lobos, Joe Cocker and Todd Rundgren who said “If there was any justice Paul Freeman would be a household name!”

Paul returned to the UK and signed to Universal Estupendo Records and was handpicked to support Roger Dalty on his UK and US tours.  In late March 2012, Daltry asked Paul to play with him at a charity show and found himself onstage at a packed Royal Albert Hall, performing his new single “Tightrope”, backing Roger Daltry, Amy McDonald, Steve Winwood and jamming with Ronnie Wood!

Paul's single "Tightrope" is out on Monday 7th May.  For more information about Paul and his music, check out his website
