Tawny Cortes, co-founder of Endpaper Theatre

Tonight Danny was joined on the phone by Tawny Cortes who told us all about the excited work that her and her theatre company are doing. First up, on Sunday 3rd June, Tawny is performing a one-woman show called 'Looking After the Pooters' which is based on the book 'The Diary of a Nobody'.

Tawny spoke about the challenges of putting on a one-person show but said how fun it was at the same time. The play premiered at the Maltings Arts Theatre last September and so is having a mini-revival. The show isn't the only thing that Tawny is up to. Tawny and her company, Endpaper Theatre, are putting on three shows called 'Grave Expectations' based on several of Charles Dickens' ghost stories. The performances are on the 5th, 6th and 9th June at the St. Albans South Signal Box.

If you want more information on the Compass Theatre where 'Looking After the Pooters' is being performed then you can visit their website here. You can also find out more about Tawny and her company at their website here.
