Michael O'Shea From The Courtyard Cafe Cycles From London To Paris For Grove House!

On today's show we were joined in the studio by proprietor of the Courtyard Cafe in Hatfield Road, Michael O'Shea.  He will shortly be embarking on a 4 day cycle ride from Crystal Palace to Paris in aid of the Ian Rennie Grove House Hospice.

Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care (IRGH) provides hospice care at home and in day hospice for patients with a life-limiting illness in Herts and Bucks. Their care is tailored to patients’ needs, whether that is end of life care or support through treatment and into remission. The charity’s free of charge services also include support for all the family following diagnosis, during the illness and after bereavement. Their nurses work closely with other healthcare professionals, striving to eliminate hospital admissions where possible and making the choice to stay at home a reality for thousands of patients each year.

Michael spoke of his preparations for the cycle ride and of the other ways he has been raising funds through the Courtyard Cafe.  If you would like to sponsor Michael, why not visit his Just Giving page:
