Harpenden Arrow Runners Feature with Colin Wareham

Colin Wareham was our guest on the show today. He rang in to chat to talk us about the Harpenden Arrow Runners, which he started five years ago in 2007.

The group is now around 90 members and could be around hundred members by the end of the year! If you can run between 2 to 3 miles in 30/40 minutes and are 18 or over then you are eligiable to join the club. The group run off and on round as well as cross country and is an excellent way to get fit and look after yourself.  The more experienced members go on to really test their limits and and take "Ultra Mararthons". The important thing is no matter your abilties you're never alone!

Big Dates coming up on the Arrow Calender there is the  St Albans Half Marathon  (10th of June) and the Marston Forest 5k (17th June).

They meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7.20pm  and aim to run just after 7:30pm. and meet at  St Georges School Sports Centre, Carlton Road (except for the 5k each month).
