Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust

Sarah Buckingham from the Herts & Middlesex Wildlife trust was our guest this evening on West Herts Drivetime whre the following topics were covered:

Saturday 14 April, Hertford Heath
An adventure-filled stroll through beautiful Balls Wood Nature Reserve. There’ll be lots of places to explore and exciting activities to try out as we wind our way through the woods.

This is a free family event but please book in advance as places are limited!

Suitable for children between 5-11, must be accompanied by an adult. Sorry, but no toilets are available on site.

Sunday 15 April, Stevenage

Join our Wild Stevenage Project Officer and Conservation Mananger to see the superb spectable of bluebells in the centre of Stevenage. Come and learn how Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust and Stevenage Borough Council are working together to improve this wonderful wildlife site.

Fairlands Valley Park South Field Car Park, Broadhall Way (A602), opposite the football ground. SG2 8RH

10am - 12 noon.

We're Wild About Orchards

Friday 6 April, Tewin

Come with us on a walk round Tewin Orchard to see the work we've been doing over the winter, thanks to a £50,000 grant from Biffaward.

Ninety new trees have been planted!
