From 8th - 11th September St Albans will be holding its Heritage Open Days. The public are given a chance to look round the places that are never usually open to the public. Such places of interest are St Alban's Crown Court, Rothamsted Manor, Abbey Gateway and our very own Radio Verulam Studio! For more information on other buildings or places of interest that are open you can collect a booklet from the Tourist Information Centre, or visit www.stalbans.gov.uk
Also, taking part between 28th September - 9th October is the St Alban's Food and Drink Festival in its fourth year running! This event includes events along the following: Beer Festival, Whisky Tasking and a Sausage and Ale Festival. You also have the chance to nominate and vote for what you think is the best bar, pub, restaurant, etc. as there will also be a Food and Drink Awards ceremony. You can still vote until 30th September. For more information see their website http://www.stalbansfoodanddrink.com
