WHD Special Guest! - Mark Rogers from St Albans Underwater Hockey Club
Today on WHD, Nick Hazell spoke with Mark Rogers from St Albans Underwater Hockey Club!
Underwater hockey was created 50 years ago in Southsea and is a world wide sport. There are around 150 teams in the UK and the world championships will be held this time next week in Portugal. The game starts with six players on the surface wearing snorkels, fins masks and waterpolo hats, and when the whistle goes they all dive underwater! Each player will stay underwater 30 seconds maximum but the game is a wonderful way to keep fit!
