Interview with Elizabeth Crampton from the CAB

This afternoon we were joined in the studio by Elizabeth Crampton from the Citizens Advice Bureau to discuss the important business of financial security. The main focus of the discussion was a new website that has been set up by the government that will give you advice about how to best look after your hard earned cash. 'The Money Advice Service' has information about all sorts of financial issues such as savings, pensions and divorces and can give you a 'financial health check' which takes mere minutes to complete and will give you suggestions as to how you can better prepare yourself for any financial difficulties that may occur.

Tax issues came up in the conversation as well as the touchy subject of car insurance (touchy if you're a 17 year-old male who really wants a new car or are a parent of said young male).

The Money Advice Service can be found here: http://www.moneyadviceservice.org.uk/
