Interview with Bo Powell

We were joined in the studio today by local publican Bo Powell who had us all enraptured with stories about his impressive feats of endurance, all in for a wonderful cause. Throughout July Bo will be taking part in five bike rides of varying lengths to raise money for Brain Tumour UK. Bo is supporting this charity in memory of Alex Robinson, a family friend who tragically died from a brain tumour at the age of 19.

Bo has already completed 2 of the 5 races and his next one is from London to Southend. He is being ably helped in his endevour by his wife and his two bikes, Jennifer (the Mountain Bike) and Clarissa (the Road Bike). By the end of the last race he will have completed about 330 miles. To find out more about Bo's remarkable challenge then go to his Facebook page, which can be found here. If you want to donate to his cause then go to his JustGiving page here.
