Harpenden Light Operatic Society

Today Danny talked to George Edkins from the Harpenden Light Operatic Society. The Society mostly puts on American musicals and has put on a good few Gilbert & Sullivan shows, including a rather funky version of HMS Pinafore in 2005! The Society celebrates 60 years this year, and is stronger than ever.

Their next production is that of Carousel; it's taking place between the 21st and 26th March. The shows are performed in the Harpenden Public Halls, and George tells us the tickets are great value for money!

The Society is always keen for new performers/back stagers/front of house or even tea makers! There is no age restriction and no need for prior experience. If you are interested in purchasing tickets for Carousel, or would like more information on joining, go to www.harpenden-operatic.co.uk
