Interview with Sean Gough of the Harpenden Film Society

Harpenden has a new film society!

It will be offering the chance to see films at Harpenden Public Halls, either on a Tuesday or Wednesday, with films starting at 8pm. The plan is to show films roughly every two weeks in a relaxing, informal atmosphere. Drinks and food will be served at the bar.

The Society plans to show some of the most interesting and acclaimed films from the UK and overseas. The programme will embrace an intriguing mix of quality films that are a little off the mainstream and therefore more difficult to find on a big screen locally.

They are beginning the screenings this evening with a showing of Roman Polanski's thriller 'The Ghost'.

Tickets for all screenings are now on sale and membership is also available. Membership will help give The Harpenden Film Society the financial platform it needs to thrive. For more information and details about membership, go to www.harpendenfilmsociety.co.uk/ or contact Sean Gough on 07947 604 057 / sean@seangough.com
